Job Family Medical Place of Work Damascus, Syria Level 7 Contract of Employment Service Agreement for 3 months, Renewable Main Purpose: Planning, organizing and carrying out laboratory activities and supervising the laboratory staff according to MSF protocols, security measures and hygiene standards, in order to support the MSF medical team in the diagnosis of patients’ diseases. Accountabilities: Overseeing and coordinating tests for both the NCD cohort within the PHC facility and for patients in the ED at the MOH facility in Daraya. Additionally, conducting lab tests for other groups of PHC patients following specific criteria. Ensuring the efficient management and distribution of consumables between the PHC and ED, maintaining adequate stock levels to support both facilities. Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results. Maintaining accurate records of all tests conducted, ensuring data is properly documented and reported. Providing training and support to lab technicians and other staff to ensure adherence to protocols and best practices. Working closely with the mission lab manager to align laboratory operations with overall mission objectives and standards. Ensuring all laboratory activities comply with safety regulations and guidelines to protect staff and patients
